MISSION

To Provide Comprehensive and Holistic Geriatric Care in am Empathetic Environment to the elderly from all strata of the society and working with synergies of the society, caregivers and Vijaya Homes members

 

OBJECTIVES

• To establish a comfort home with services encompassing Physical, Medical, Emotional, Social , spiritual and Cultural domains of life for the elderly. “A final home away from home with full of warmth and Affection otherwise wanting.”

• To establish an assisted living facility for the disabled elderly by providing them with medical, nursing and rehabilitative services thereby touching every facet of their daily life.

• To establish a Geriatric Hospital to cater to the needs of critically ill elderly patients offering multi-specialty in-patient services with focus on Geriatric medicine

• To provide Out Patient facilities for the aged on daily basis.

• The infrastructure facilities of the Hospital will also be utilized for health care of the surrounding rural area.

• Keeping in view the inevitability of aging and it’s attendant problems,intention is to spread the message of preventive care through educational programs so as to minimize suffering and disability.

• To forge vital links between all the four wings of SSA viz: the Comfort Home (old age home), Assisted living Center, Geriatric hospital and Nursing Institute.

• To establish a Hospice Home for the terminally ill.

• To undertake Basic and Applied Research studies to develop Medical and Nursing Methodologies for Geriatric care in Indian scenario
